Supported more than ten transactions growing the organization’s revenue from $3B to over $6B

Selected as project manager and strategic liaison to support integration and change management efforts for four Senior Leader workgroups of a large-scale merger

 

Business Development Consultant

Evaluated new growth initiatives and provided strategic insight to Senior Executives. Responsibilities included transaction support and research/analysis of potential partners and new business strategies.

 Accomplishments

Selected by System Senior Vice President to support a new business development department specifically devoted to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships

Created M&A processes, tools, and templates for target evaluation, proposal, due diligence, integration planning, and communication planning

Successfully managed Hart-Scott Rodino filing receiving feedback from legal team about how exceptionally well organized and efficient the process was reducing the overall filing time

 

Corporate Planning Consultant

Collaborated with operational and system leadership to inform the organization’s strategic and operational plan.  Responsibilities included environmental assessments, market evaluations, performance management and goal setting, researching industry trends (e.g., innovations, consumer trends, care deliver models, organizational structures, best practice research, etc.), and preparing executive briefings, papers, and presentations for executive management

 Accomplishments

Promoted into newly created position to support the transition from a holding company to an operating company through collaboration and consultation with leadership teams

Spearheaded operational planning redesign by collaborating with senior leadership and corporate management to provide clear, best practice recommendations and next steps

Provided strategic approach for assessing long-term impact of portfolio growth using a weighted data-driven model


Corporate Planning Analyst

Analyzed system-wide performance on key indicators and strategic initiatives and synthesized data into meaningful and actionable headlines for Senior Executives. Responsibilities included internal and external performance analysis, quantitative and qualitative data analysis and interpretation, and production of quarterly and monthly system reporting for all 15 hospitals.

 Accomplishments

Executive briefing books were changed for 15 hospitals to include my approach of translating data into the actions required to drive business results

Proactively proposed a best practice sharing tool to improve cross-system communication and allowed reinforcement of consistent key messages to support improved consumer experience

 

HR/Organizational Development Consultant

Consulted with more than 20 assigned regional leaders across 4 departments and 7 hospitals to improve operational performance and employee engagement. Projects included intervention plans to improve low performing departments; conducting ad-hoc leadership and employee education; and providing ongoing support for change & crisis management, engagement strategies, communication plan creation, etc. Responsibilities included goal setting, executive recruiting, onboarding, training design and facilitation, leadership development, process redesign, and employee relations.

 Accomplishments

Asked to manage Network Leadership Development Program for all new and established leaders including course curriculum development, facilitation, evaluation, and improvement.

Nominated as a high performer to complete MBTI Administrator Certification

Redesigned new employee orientation to begin fostering organizational commitment on day one to reduce first year turnover
